NETBALL
(UNDER 11 AND 13) - MRS L. NADAS
VOLLEYBALL
MRS.K.SOMAI AND MRS.A.M.NAIDOO
Volleyball will be introduced as a new sport to the learners of Ridge View Primary in the term 3 The main aim will be to develop the necessary skills for playing competitive volleyball in the future. Learners have displayed keen interest in the sport and have gained much enjoyment from playing the game.
SOCCER
(UNDER 13) - MR S. EBRAHIM
Soccer training has commenced and the team are improving. We have not participated against other school team as Inter-House Athletics took priority and due to time constrains. The team could only manage practice games during training. Educator teams will put together class matches in Term 3 to further develop our learners,
ATHLETICS
MR S.R.P. RAMDUTT
Our annual Inter-house athletics was held in May. Events are planned to ensure that all learners participate and receive medals on the day. The top athletics are selected to represent the school at the annual Inter-School Athletics Championships thereby given an opportunity to excel to higher levels. Grade R learners have a separate Sports Day. All learners are given an opportunity to participate and receive medals.
MINI NETBALL

Mini - netball is a developmental code of sport. Learners of Ridge View Primary have participated in several mini-netball festivals where they had the opportunity of developing the necessary skills for playing competitive netball in the future. Learners have displayed keen interest in the sport and have gained much enjoyment from playing the game.
MINI CRICKET
MRS A. LALBEHAREE
A lot of enthusiasm and interest is displayed amongst the learners in the Foundation Phase. Learners are introduced to the Fundamental Skills of bowling, batting and fielding.
